Join the APM
The APM exists to promote the advancement and development of palliative medicine and is recognised as representing physicians at all grades who work in palliative medicine within the UK and Ireland and those with an interest in the specialty. Palliative medicine doctors from overseas may also join as associate members.

Subscription fees (2009-2010, 2010-2011 and 2011-2012)
The subscription year runs from 1 December to 30 November. Subscription fees are payable annually by Direct Debit (APM's preferred method of payment), cheque or bank transfer. Members joining after August will receive four months' membership free of charge.

Full membership £180
Consultants and equivalents who hold an appointment, paid or unpaid, with a hospice or hospital unit, team or service in the UK or Ireland.

Full membership with reduced subscription £100
Any doctors in a specialised training post or holding as specialty doctor, staff grade or associate specialist post within a hospital unit, team or service in the UK or Ireland.

Associate membership £80
Retired or overseas doctors and those who do not hold an appointment, paid or unpaid, with a hospice or hospital unit, team or service in the UK or Ireland. Associate members do not have voting rights.
