APM Membership Survey

Bee Wee - Posted 20th November 2012

Thank you for taking the time to participate in our recent membership survey. We received a good response with some very useful feedback.

As you’ll see from the key findings, it’s clear that most members (83%) are really happy with the services delivered by the APM and consider their membership of it “value for money”. It appears that you’d like greater external proactive communications promoting the specialty, and better access to information about national guidelines and national audits to support specialist practice. Just over half of you (55%) do not wish membership to broaden to other professional groups. Your Executive Committee will now incorporate your feedback into its strategy for the APM, and report back on how your views are helping to shape the APM agenda going forwards.

Some of you indicated that you would be willing to be contacted for more detailed feedback and future consultation on specific issues. We can’t actually identify you from the survey, so if you are still willing to be on such a ‘list’, could you please email Becki Munro?

I can also announce that the winner of the prize draw is Victoria Lidstone, a consultant from Wales. Victoria will be offered the choice of either free APM membership next year or free attendance at our Annual Conference in 2013.

Thank you again for sharing your views with us.
